Hi Katie,
Me and this guy both like each other and we want to go out but my bestfriend doesn’t want me to… she should be more understanding but the thing is she likes him too!
What should I do? Who should I pick, bestfriend or boyfriend?

Dear Zaiah,
Well thats not really cool of your bestfriend to put you in that situation to where you would have to chose between her or him.
If the guy is obviously into you and not your friend, then there is really no reason for you not to date him. Just because your friend is jealous and disappointed that he doesn’t like her is not a good enough reason to not date him. If she is truley your best friend she will want what is best for you and what makes you happy.
Give her a week or two and she will get over it…she just got her ego hurt a little! So try not to rub it in that he picked you and not her. Be understanding and try to remember she just got rejected.

hey my name is jenna im 13 years old yes a liked him befor but im over him and have been telling her to go out with him for 3 weeks now \ …the olny thing i dont like is he hates me because she didnt go out with him because of me and i wanna be his friend but is hard when he always puts me down and makes me feel ulgy and unlikeed and like no one will ever like me and i dont think im that nice looking and thats up sets me alot …he doesnt need to like like me or ever like me …just doesnt need to make me feal like crap ..its hard to be a girl who thinks there ulgy and cant do any thing to look better..i just want in to go back to me and zaiah being best friends and hanging out a lot even if it mean he has to be there ..zaiahs my friend all i want so for her to be happy and have time for me
