Should I Get Over Him?

Hi Katie,
This guy told me he liked me, and a couple days later he was over me. Doesn’t text me, or even look at me at school. This happened a few times before with him, then he tells me he likes me. Should I just get over him?

Dear Sierra,
You say this guy keeps telling you he likes you and then acting like he doesn’t. Hes done it several times so there is definetly a patern developing. He may be trying to see your reaction to see if you like him too. When he says he likes you, and doesn’t get the reaction out of you he was expecting, like you saying you like him too…he might be withdrawing from you out of embarassment. Then later he gets the nerve again to tell you and the same thing happens again.
The thing is, we can speculate all day on why he might be doing this, but what is comes down to is what do you want? Do you want him to stop and leave you alone? Or do you like the fact that he likes you?
If you are annoyed with his behavior and just want him to stop telling you these things, you may want to forget about this guy. But if you really like him, next time he tells you he likes you, you should tell him how you feel too! This might be just what he is waiting to hear.
