How do I make a guy like me? Or why don’t guys like me? They say I’m pretty but they don’t like me

Dear Sally,
All you can do is be yourself. Don’t start acting like someone else, because he may start to lose interest. Guys like girls who are comfortable in their own skin and who are confident in who they are as a person (not just her own looks)
Boys might be looking at you while your not looking, so ask your friends if they ever see boys looking at you. They might just be too intimidated to approach you. If you know a boy thinks your pretty, try talking to him with a happy and positive attitude. Compliment him. Just like girls, boys also like to be complemented!
Boys love pretty and well dressed girls. So always try to look your best when you know you will see him. Most of all be confident! Boys love a girl bursting with high self esteem.

I’m Emily and I’m 13 years old. I’ve never had a boyfriend and never been kissed. It seems like alot of other kids in my grade already have had one of those or both. I’m not ugly, I’m not gorgous. I’m extremely friendly, funny, and outgoing. Yet, guys don’t seem to like me. How should I talk to guys? I don’t want to go up to them and be like “Hey! Want to go out?”, they’ll think I’m weird and just ignore me. I’m new to this school and I’m going to a new school thats being built right now with this guy I think is really cute (: I’d love to develop a friendship with him and maybe, once we get to know eachother, soemthing more. Please help!

Hey I’m Maddie,
The last paragraph that you wrote I get confused. you see I’m more of a tomboy and if I “dress up” that wouldn’t be being myself so do I dress up and become a whole brand new me just for a guy (that I’m not even sure that he likes me) or stay myself and don’t get any attention at all?
