Dear Katie,
I met this gut at the beginning of the school year and we became super close. Then he started liking me and I didn’t really like him back but we had a thing for about a week. Then we both dated different people but were still best friends. Then we both broke up with who we were dating and we realized that we liked eachother more than we thought. He told me I gave him mixed signals and he couldnt tell if I really liked him or not so a few days ago he started dating his ex who is a complete slut!
And I cried right in front of him when he told me. I was sooo sad! I really like this guy so what do I do? I’m super comfortable around him! Were like best friend so I tell him everything and at the amusement park the other day we rode a bunch of rides together ane I fell even more in love with him! What am I supposed to do since he has a stupid girlfriend?!

Dear Kayla,
In the begining, you weren’t sure if you liked him, and he picked up on the fact that you were not that interested so lost his interest too. He knew that you were not really that into him, so he went for a girl that liked him back. Now that he has a girlfriend you are realizing that you DO like him. It’s either a clasic case of bad timing…or now that he is with another girl he seems more attractive to you. Ask yourself which one it is.
If it is just a case of bad timing, you need to wait until he is single again and THEN you may proceed in flirting with him. But until then, you shouldn’t be telling him your feelings or flirting with him. This will only put him in an awkward situation and he will think you only want him now that he is taken.
Once he is single again, this time be more clear about your feelings with him and don’t be afraid to tell him you like him and wanna go out with him. That way there is no mixed signals again. Sometimes guys need us girls to be straight forward and tell them EXACTLY what we want! Otherwise they really have no clue…they cant read minds! lol!

kayso there’s this guy, and he’s so sweet and he likes me also, but he has a girlfriend. He’s told all my friends that once him and his girlfriend break up he’s going to ask me out but in the process of all this my best friend started liking him as well. My best friend is really outgoing and doesn’t care if she flirts with a guy that has a girlfriend, but I feel differently and I don’t like it, I’ve tried to but I felt very bad after wards. I’m starting to think that he likes my best friend more than me because she’s flirting back and I’m not but that’s only because of his girl friend. what should I do?

i’m that kind of person who have very limited guy friends. i have one who calls me “granny”, its a joke, one who used to be my friend and then got angry at me, and one that ive known since 6th grade. the last one is the one that my friend convinced me that i like him, and now i do. but he has a girlfriend. i met her and she’s really nice. i think he’s just trying to get my attention, because he always pokes me in the back in 2nd block and other things that i came down to saying he was flirting with me. i need help, i can’t talk to my friends because they’ll make me blush because they’ll say “ahhhh! lily loves him!”. is he trying to get my attention with having a girlfriend? or am i jumping to conclusions? and if a guy likes a girl, does he get their attention with having a girlfriend because they know that they like him? because he said that i should just admit it that i like him. please help!
