Does He Really Like Me?

So I met a guy at a party a few weeks ago, and we started text/calling. We’ve talked every night, hung out/kissed a few times, and just have a lot in common…and we both have told each other that we like each other.
We got really close…however, three days ago, he started acting weird and he said that we should slow down a little bit and “chill out” and get to know each other better. He said he would rather make it a lasting relationship rather than just a quick fling.
The thing is, he hasn’t called in 3 days, and when I text or call him he’s really short with it. he’s also been with his friend for a few days, so maybe that’s the reason he’s acting like that…
I’ve never been in a relationship so this is all new to me so if you could help I’d thank you sooo much…I wouldn’t mind some guy tips either. btw, me and him are 14. ~Alexa

Honestly you just need to be patient and let what happens happen. If you guys are having a great time together and have a strong connection like you were talking about then it sounds like nothing is really out of the ordinary.
I know from experience that if you constantly point out and focus on the negative aspects of a relationship then that will be all you see, and you’ll forget about all the positive and wonderful aspects…the relationship will ultimately not work out.
So start thinking about the good stuff like how you found someone you can have fun with and have a lot in common with. Just enjoy his company when you can see him and the rest will follow.

OMG! I am having the same issue! I started hanging out with this guy I like and I am trying to figure out if he likes me or not too!
Guys can be so hard to read sometimes, lol!
