Its My First School Dance…How Do I Dance With a Guy?

Our school has dances now that we are in the 7th grade. 5th and 6th grade has always just had socials. But 7th and 8th are DANCES. Now.. i will tell you the truth. I have no idea how to dance with my boyfriend, and i am REALLY nervous and scared out of my mind.

I don’t want to make myself look bad in front of him. So… how do you dance with a guy? And what do you do and how do u do it? Also.. do you have any tips for when we have the dances.

Ok, so school dances….i remember these! You shouldn’t worry too much because the hardest part you have already taken care of….and that is having a DATE! Many girls, I remember, would always wait and wonder what guy would ask them to the dance, and sometimes never even get asked. But you already have a date to the dance…Nick!

So you really only have to concentrate on the dancing part. Trust me…no one there is going to be doing any great dancing. From what I remember the faster songs everyone dances around together (like you would see in a dance club or on TV) and for slow songs the girls and guys just put their arms around each other and slowly rock back and forth around in a circle….nothing fancy! Just have fun!

Your boyfriend may have some nerves about going to the dance too….so if you want you guys should practice! Maybe one night you can put on some soft music and candles and dance with him…it may be romantic and help you guys prepare for the dance. Then you will be the hottest couple there!

A guy i have a crush on asked me out, but then my best guyfreind asked me out! and then the first guy made out with me, adn then the second guy made out with me! I feel like such a whore!!! What should i do!!!!!!!

Hey,
I gots somethin. I\’m in high school and I\’ve been to a few dances. A few days ago, I danced with a guy, and, well, dancing in high school… Grinding… Eerrmm… And I am probably sure this isn\’t what you want to put up with but I 1) did it under peer pressure and I ain\’t too fond of it and 2) didn\’t exactly know how to. I ot the basics but when he wanted to go up and down… And isn\’t he supposed to follow me?
