Do You Think He Will Call Me Back?

Dear Katie,
My ex-boyfriend and I broke up about a two months ago. He said that he wanted to stay in touch. But I found out somethings, like I thought he cheated on me… which may or may not be true. So I texted him that I didn’t want to talk to him again.
A couple weeks later, I got a letter in the mail from him. He said he didn’t want things to be the way they are right now between us, and that he thought we were better friends than that. He said that he cares about me and will continue to since I don’t want to stay in touch anymore.
He also said he never cheated or intentionally lied to me. I emailed him a week ago and told him why I felt the way I did and that I didn’t want to end things this way and for him to let me know if he wanted to talk. Now it has been a week and I still havn’t heard anything from him.
I decided to call him tonight and he didn’t answer. I left a message saying that I wanted to talk to him about a few things and for him to give me a call back. He still hasn’t called back and it has been several hours.
Do you think he is ever going to call? It took a lot of courage for me to call him… Is he being stubborn or is he over me?

Dear Miley,
Be patient…i think he will call. Sounds like he wants to make things work with you.
But on the other hand, if you continue to see a pattern though of him not calling you back or pursue you, then move on.
This will become more clear to you in time….so if you really want to see if things will work with you two, give him the benefit of the doubt and see if he really does want to make it work.
