I have a question about foundation. What is a good foundation that will cover my blemishes if I have them but, isn’t so heavy that I break out? Which has more coverage: powder or liquid? I’d like one that I could just go buy at the store.

My favorite foundation that you can get at ANY store is the foundations from L’Oreal Paris. Particularly the True Match Super Blendable makeup. The color tones are very natural and match many skin tones flawlessly. That is what I use and I get complements all the time and people asking me what makeup I wear. Apply it with a makup sponge. It creates a thin and smooth layer so that you still get good coverage but it’s not all caked on.

Next you wanna use a powder to set the foundation. This will help the foundation stay in place and keep your face from getting really shiny. A powder that I love and use daily is the CoverGirl FreshLook pressed powder. You can also find that at any drug store. And when choosing a color, if you can’t decide between one that is lighter or darker, always choose the lighter one cause you can always use bronzer to darken it if you need to. But if you choose a powder or foundation that is too dark, it will not look natural.

I was just wondering how to put eyeliner on the top eyelid.

I put it on the bottom, but I need to do it on the top because it doesn’t look right! (lol)

Could you show me how?

When you put eyeliner on the top lid, you don’t want to do the entire lash line. Start just a little inside of the center of the lid and put the pencil right on the lash line. Then draw the line alone the lash line to the outer corner. The line should get a little thicker towards the outer corner of your eye.

One tip that I found VERY useful is to use a color that is not black…because black can be way too harsh for everyday use. Find a nice charcoal grey or taupe color (which goes with all eye colors) and it will really help define your eyes with out being too obvious that you are wearing eyeliner.

Make sure also that the line is blended in with your eyelashes, otherwise if there is a gap it will look funny. I will be posting your video soon on the website, so check back soon to watch your video about eyeliner!

Ok well I have trouble with my makeup. There is always something wrong =( Like if I put mascara on it looks like to much, but I do have long eyelashes.

Also I have brown eyes and don’t know what eyeshadow to wear. Should I wear my eyeshadow by what color I’m wearing that day or my skin tone???

I have found the best beauty trick out there is when you stick to natural colors and use makeup to enhance your own colors. This ALWAYS turns out looking the best and most stunning. I have brown eyes too, and long eyelashes. I have found what works for me is to use a sheer foundation all over my face and eyelids as a base.

Then curl my eyelashes…it really helps open up your eyes and makes mascara look good…just make sure to only apply one coat. Also, one reason why your mascara might look to thick is because it may be drying out….you should probably replace it with a fresh mascara that will go on smoother. My favorite mascara is Maybelline intense XXL mascara…it goes on smooth and keeps my lashes curled all day!

Then on my eyelids, I keep it very neutral and with a cream color base and light coral color shade in the corners…but I apply it very subtle. It goes with everything I wear. The eye shadow is from Dior. Sometimes too much eye shadow or eye shadow that is too dark can make your eyes look sunk in.

As for your lips find a shinny clear gloss that will accentuate your natural color of your lips. I love CoverGirl WetSlicks in clear radiance! Plus it is only a few dollars! My lips are medium to small too and the clear gloss really plumps them up while my natural color compliments my facial colors the best. Its funny how nature usually knows what looks best on us!

I’m also having trouble with mascara because my eyelashes are kinda short, i always use an eyelash curler..but my eyelashes alwyas end up looking messy, ugh! My face overall is so smooth and clean, the only trouble is the make up that I apply!

I have a great solution for you. Instead of putting tons of eyeliner, use a nude color eyepencil and line the inner part of your eyes with this.

Then apply a single coat of mascera to your lashes and use a grey/charcoal or chocolate color eyeliner and line just the outer corners of your eyes (not on the inner part…just below and on your lash line.

This will brighten up your brown eyes and make them look not so sleepy!

What’s a really good bronzer?

I’m looking for a natural looking bronzer, please tell me what it is called, how much it is, and where do I get it?

The one I use now seems unnatural, I have tried many different brands but can’t seem to get a natural look from any of them. Thanks! Tisha

The best bronzer that I have found that looks natural on almost any skin tone is Physicans Formula called Summer Eclipse.

It matches almost all skin tones and has a nice golden brown tint that blends very naturally.

It is relatively cheap, around $11.00 and you can find it at any drug store or beauty supply store.
